McDuck is a mobile expense calculator application with a lot of facilities. There are 3 entities managed by McDuck.
expense - it corresponds to your daily expense items
expense currency - currency used to enter some expense
expense category - category used to enter some expense
Expense
With McDuck you could save information about your daily expenses and take a look later where your money are spend and for what.
You could save following expense information
expense category - some name by which to divide expenses(for example meal, oil, clubs)
expense date - the date on which expense was made
expense amount - the most important thing :)
expense currency - the currency in which expense amount is expressed
expense description - some usefull description(for example "pizza for home")
Expense currency
Before to start to add expenses you must enter list of currencies in which expenses amounts are expressed
For each currency you enter:
currency code - for example BGL, USD, EUR or something of your choice
You create list of currencies and attach them to your daily expenses.
Expense category
Expenses are divided by categories of your interest. For example let suppose you want to know how much money you
spend for your car every month. You could add category "Car" and after this you could check total amount spend
for your car. For each category you enter:
category name - it is a name for some kind of expenses in which total you are interested in
category creation date - by default it is the date on which category
was created, but you could choose another
category description - long description of the category if you need some
You create a list of categories and attach them to your daily entered expenses. Later you could search database stored expenses
by category, calculate totals, delete them or something like this.
Saving the data and later use
All this information mentioned above could be stored in your mobile for later review or modification.
There are nice search facilities to find the information easy. You could search expenses by category name, currency, amount interval and date interval. Categories could be searched by name and date intervals. You have options to review, modify and delete results found. Results could be ordered in way you prefer.
